Desert Wind Harley-Davidson Annual Grand Opening Anniversary Event
Owner, rider and Phoenix resident Ray Croghan leads celebration of dealership’s first year in business

What: Desert Wind Harley-Davidson owner Ray Croghan is celebrating his dealership’s first year in business with an annual grand opening anniversary event. Ray and his wife Deb have lived in the Phoenix area for twenty years.  Ray has ridden motorcycles for more than 50 years and was attracted to the Harley-Davidson franchise in Mesa because it is known for the number of experienced riders it has in its customer base.

The grand opening anniversary event will run Friday, October 7 through Sunday, October 9 featuring free food, drinks, vendors, giveaways and local bands including The Fallen, 74th Street Band, Christopher Shayne, Mogollon and Whiskey Dogz.  The event is open to everyone and there is no admission fee.  For more details on the Desert Wind Harley-Davidson Grand Opening Anniversary event, call 480.894.0404.

Why: Desert Wind Harley-Davidson has the most experienced staff of riders in the area.  The owner, Ray Croghan, has a unique riding history.  In addition to a half century of riding experience, Ray has ridden on five continents.  He has attended Sturgis 17 times and counting.  His purchase of Desert Wind Harley-Davidson was predicated on the dealership’s customer base and the staff’s riding experience.

The managers at Desert Wind Harley-Davidson include three individuals with more than 50 years of riding experience.  No manager at the dealership has fewer than 15 years-experience riding motorcycles.  The experienced riders, and those wanting to become experienced riders, who make up the customer base at Desert Wind Harley-Davidson are attracted to the dealership by the staff’s knowledge and understanding of what they want and need to make the most of their time on the road.
