Patrick KlingmanMOTORCYCLE TECH TIP

We are always looking to bring bigger ponies to our ride. So since horsepower is calculated from torque, what we are all seeking is the greatest possible torque value over the broadest possible RPM range. Horsepower will follow suit, and will fall in the engine speed range dictated by the many factors that affect the torque curve.

Increased displacement is the easiest way to achieve increased torque. So with that being said, the Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle® Pro Racing Parts division has created a new bolt in 110” kit with no modifications to the crankcase. WOW!

The new kit for the 2014 and Later touring models and 2016 and later Softail® models produces approximately 95 hp and 112 ft. lbs. of torque. All this for a modest $1849.95 plus gaskets and miscellaneous – not including labor. I don’t know about you but, that’s a lot of bang for the buck!

Superstition Harley-Davidson® has these kits in stock and a staff of Service professionals ready to bring your Harley-Davidson® Motorcycle to the next level. Call 480.346.0600 today to schedule your bike for an easy upgrade that will have you “Screamin’“ down the open road.

Keep the rubber side down, a smile on your face and a song in your heart.
