Wow how time Flies, I cannot believe it is time for Bike Week again! That means it will also be getting warmer out. Please remember when you ride to keep hydrated. Drink plenty of water. I know we all want a few cocktails while we are out and about but try and drink some water in between the drinks.

With that being said the statistics show about 46 percent of riders killed in accidents, according to the Motorcycle Safety Foundation have alcohol in their system at the time of their death. During this time of year we also still have to watch out for all the snowbirds that are here in town and the visitors that are here to watch the spring training games, they are also having a few while watching the game. We know as riders most accident occur when a driver is making a left hand turn and not paying attention to oncoming traffic. In Arizona this year there has been quite a few deadly accidents.
Let’s be safe out there!!

The MMA is still working getting street signs out they say LOOK OUT FOR MOTORCYCLES if you know a city that does not have them let us know so we can try and get them there. I am still working on Casa Grande the issue her is most streets are federal. We will see will keep working!

Please remember your Membership goes to pay for these signs along with helping our lobbyist got to different meetings all over the country to help our cause which is Motorcycle safety and awareness!!

Well keep cool enjoy Bike Week!! Ride Smart/Ride Free
